Easter Weekend - April 23rd & 24th - Hop on over and have eggciting good time! Activities will include crafts, egg coloring, egg hunt, egg toss, jellybean hunt, jellybean guessing contest and more.
Mother's Day Weekend – May 7th & 8th - Treat Mom like a queen! Make Mom a special craft and bring her to our Mother's Day Tea Party where we will play Pocket Book Scavenger Hunt and other games.
Armed Forces Weekend – May 21st & 22nd – Take time to THANK our men and women who have served and are serving our country in the military. They have and are putting their lives on the line to protect ours. Join us for a flag raising ceremony. Any veteran or service men/women please wear your uniform or hat. * We will be putting together a "Wall of Honor" and would like pictures of our service men/women. Please bring picture to the Activities Department.
Memorial Day & MDA Carnival Weekend – May 28th – 30th – We will be having our 2nd Annual MDA Carnival. All proceeds will be donated to MDA. *Volunteers are needed to make this event a great success. Please see Edna in Activities to say you'll help. Please don't forget to take a moment to remember those who have lost their lives defending our freedom.

Scouting Weekend – June 3rd – 5th – The Girl/Boy Scouts will be holding their annual fun-filled weekend of great learning activities. There will be lots of great activities planned for all to take part in. There will be a puppet show on Friday presented by Arm of the Sea Theatre Productions. Please call the office for details on how your troop can participate in this wonderful fun and learning experience.
Fishing Weekend – June 11th & 12th – Come enjoy a fun weekend of fishing! Prizes for the largest and smallest fish will be awarded. Please remember we do have a catch and release policy so please bring fish to the Activities Department to be measured then release it back in the water. There will also be crafts and games.
Father's Day Weekend – June 18th & 19th – It's time to treat Dad like a King! Make a special craft , play games and make him feel special. Dads, join us for our first annual Father's Day Chili Cook-Off. Bring a pot of homemade chili to the pavilion for judging. We'll provide the cornbread and garlic bread. Prizes will be awarded.
Safety Weekend – June 25th & 26th – Safety, safety , safety … this weekend will feature fun and learning activities all designed to keep you safe.
Happy Birthday America Weekend – July 2nd – 4th – Let's celebrate America's birthday with a Party! We'll have cake, party hats, noise makers and games. Let's not forget our annual 4th of July parade, kids' watermelon eating contest, face painting, bounce house and more!

Rondout Valley Surfin' Safari Weekend – July 9th & 10th - Water, water and more water! Lots of water activities are planned. Beach Towel Water Balloon Toss, Bucket Brigade, Dribble, Dribble, Drench, our Wet and Wild Wagon Ride and more!

Big Summer Flea Market and Mardis Gras Weekend – July 16th & 17th – Come check out what your fellow campers have for sale. You are sure to find a hidden treasure as you walk around our beautiful park. We will also be celebrating Mardis Gras with crafts, games and a parade.

Christmas in July – July 23rd & 24th – He's checking his list … Santa will be making a special visit to Rondout Valley Resort on Saturday afternoon. Parents please provide a wrapped present for your child(ren) with their first and last name on it to the activities department. Saturday morning we will be making great holiday crafts and decorating the Christmas tree. There will be ornament bingo and other games. We will also be collecting new unwrapped toys for Commitment to Kids.

New Year's Eve Weekend – July 30th & 31st – Now that Christmas is over, it's time to ring in the new year. Activities will include crafts, games and a New Year's celebration on Saturday night.

Texas BBQ Weekend – August 6th & 7th – Calling all cowboys and cowgirls, it's time for RVR Texas BBQ! Lots of fun activities planned; kids' pie eating contest, adult's corn husking contest, haystack treasure find, stick pony races and more. Advance reservations are required for the BBQ.

Chocolate Lover's Weekend – August 13th & 14th – This weekend is for all chocolate lovers out there. We will have chocolate crafts, Hershey bar hunt, M&M Bingo, Tootsie Roll guessing contest, chocolate pudding eating contest, candy bar scavenger hunt, chocolate dessert social and more.

Halloween in August – August 20th – 21st – Watch out for all the ghosts and goblins that will be roaming around RVR this weekend. On the schedule will be crafts, games and of course trick-or-treating, so make sure you bring the candy!

Rondout Valley Resort 500 Race Weekend – August 27th & 28th – Get ready for a racing good time! Activities will include crafts, cardboard race car races, adult tire changing contest, sack races, 3 legged races and more.

Labor Day Weekend – September 3rd – 5th – Bring your family to RVR this weekend and your sure to have a good time! We will have our 3rd annual Penny Social & Bingo weekend. Back by popular demand: The Miss Rondout Pageant, so guys get into your wife's closet and pick out something great to wear! Plus lots of other activities.

Octoberfest Weekend – October 1st & 2nd – RVR is a great place to celebrate the start of October with fun crafts and activities. Saturday night will be our annual Octoberfest celebration. We supply the Bratwurst, Knockwurst and hot dogs. Campers, please bring side dishes and desserts to share along with your own table setting and serving spoons.
Columbus Day Weekend and 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser – October 8th – 10th – Join us for the last 3-day weekend of the camping season. We will have crafts, games and our annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser with the proceeds donated to the Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer Research Fund. Tickets should be purchased in advance.

Halloween Weekend – October 29th & 30th – Celebrate Halloween with us at RVR! The weekend will include crafts, games and trick-or-treating throughout the park.
