Easter Weekend - March 30th & 31st - Hop on over to Rondout Valley Resort We’re bringing back “Easter Dinner” on Saturday March 30th.  Rondout will provide Baked Ham with Homemade Rolls, Guest are invited to bring their best Easter Dish to complete the Celebration. Bring your craziest April Fool Story to share; the best story will win a special prize. Activities this weekend will include: our annual egg hunt with prizes, egg coloring (please bring a dozen hard boiled eggs), jellybean guessing contest, crafts, games, coloring, word searches, and mazes.

Fishing Weekend – April 6th & 7th - Name the Fishing Pond, Lets all get together to come up with a Special Name for our fishing pond. Please submit your entries to the activities department. Fishing season is open, come out and catch the “BIG ONE” contests for all age groups. Tell us you’re “Best Fishing Story” at the campfire. Prizes for the most fish caught, the biggest fish, the youngest angler to land one and anything else you can think off.

Earth Day Weekend – April 20th & 21st - Celebrate the “Wonderful World” we live on, enjoy our many walking trails and walk back to nature this weekend. Activities will include Recycled crafts and a nature scavenger hunt.

Relaxation Weekend – April 27th & 28th - Join us for a weekend of relaxation! Take time to enjoy our beautiful campground, walk the streams and trails with family and friends. Explore nature as it unfolds before you.  Sit by a “Big Campfire” tell stories and cook marshmallows with fellow campers. There will also be a few vendors in the pavilion for your shopping pleasure, Avon, Homemade Jellies & Jams, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple, & Creative Memories.

Cinco de Mayo Weekend - May 4th & 5th - Join us for a Mexican Potluck Party.  Come with your Mexican Imagination and your BEST DISH to add to the Snack Bars Special Mexican Surprise to complete our Potluck Party.  The Snack Bar will feature Mexican Specials this weekend. Activities will include a Piñata, a Limbo Contest, Crafts and Games.

Mother's Day Weekend – May 11th & 12th - It's Mom's special weekend so treat her like a QUEEN! Start by making her a special craft, sign up for the mother/child LOOK-A-LIKE CONTEST. Bring Mom to the 2nd annual Mother's Day Tea Party where we will play Pocket Book Scavenger Hunt, word and guessing games with prizes. Enjoy a special breakfast with Mom at the snack bar. (Moms eat free when accompanied by their family).

Armed Forces Weekend – May 18th & 19th – Please take time to THANK our men and women who have served and are still serving our country in the military. They have and are putting their lives on the line every day to protect our freedom. This weekend we will be making cards to send to our veterans in nursing homes and to our servicemen and women serving around the country. Please make it a point to stop by the pavilion to make a special card to let our military know we care about and support them! We will also have crafts and games.  SIDE FX on Saturday night.

Memorial Day Weekend - May 25th – 27th – Please take a moment this weekend and remember those that have lost their lives defending our FREEDOM! It's time for a Chili Cook-Off! And The RVR's Talent Show! Prizes will be awarded so get your entry forms from the camp store or activities department and join in on the fun! We will have lots of games, crafts and our famous Bounce House will be up. Entertainment, Saturday night No Limit and DJ Joey "B" Sunday night.

Kickback Weekend - June 1st & 2nd - Join us for a Kickback and relax week end, take time to relax and enjoy our beautiful campground. Join the activities staff in making some relaxing crafts. We will also hopefully have a Yoga instructor join us for some relaxing techniques. Don't miss out on our wine and cheese party Saturday night (adults only) in the Adult Lounge. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine and we will provide the cheese and the fixings.

Scouting Weekend - June 7th - 8th – The Girl/Boy Scouts will be holding their annual fun-filled weekend of great learning activities. There will be lots of great activities for all to join in on and a DJ Friday night. Please call the office for details on how your troop can participate in this wonderful, fun filled learning experience. The theme this year is: TRY SOMETHING NEW.  There are Special Events and Entertainment planned for the entire week end.

Father's Day & Flag Day Weekend - June 15th & 16th – This is Dad's special weekend so plan on treating him like a KING! Start by making him a special craft and then join us for a father/child kickball game and other great activities. Come enjoy a Great Breakfast at the Snack Bar, all Dads eat for free… (When accompanied by the family).

Flea Market / Carnival Weekend – June 22nd & 23rd - This weekend you are sure to find some treasures! Take a walk around our beautiful park and see what your fellow campers are selling. We will also have vendors in the pavilion: Avon, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Partylite Candles, and others, so please be sure to stop by. Activities has loads of special games and prizes planned for you including Face Painting.  Entertainment Saturday J20 Band.

Wet and Wild Weekend – June 29th & 30th - Lots of great fun planned this weekend! Activities include: a popsicle lick-off, beach ball volleyball, sand castle making, ice  balloons with a special prize inside, sand bucket toss, a beach towel picnic, cool crafts and of course our famous wet & wild wagon ride!   Entertainment Saturday Soundwave Entertainment.

Fourth of July Weekend –July 4th thru July 7th - Come to a Birthday Party Celebrating America’s Freedom. Among the fun will be sack races, water melon eating contest, bubble gum blowing contest, pie eating contest, great crafts and frog jumping contest.  Make sure to get your festive 4th of July decorations out for the site decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded. We will also have our July 4th Parade.  Entertainment:  July 4th Thursday DJ Joey “B”, July 6th Saturday, Music by The Rollercats.

Valentine's Day / Big Summer Flea Market – July 13 & 14th – Its Flea Market time again, so have fun selling and buying! We will also be celebrating Valentine’s Day, Come play “THE NEWLY WED GAME” and Special “Sweet Heart Dinner” with Dancing afterwards to the wonderful music by: Break away on Saturday Night. The Snack Bar will have wonderful specials to help make the event “Special for the LOVE BIRDS”.

Christmas in July – July 20th & 21st – Santa Claus is coming to Rondout Valley Resort! He will be making a special appearance Saturday afternoon. Parents please provide a wrapped present for your child(ren) with their first and last name on it to the activities department by 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning. We will be making great holiday crafts and decorating the Christmas Tree, playing Ornament Bingo, and other games including a Summer Snow Ball Fight… Be sure to decorate your site. Prizes will be awarded. Music by Soundwave Entertainment

Camper's Appreciation Weekend – July 27th & 28th – This will be a very exciting weekend! Join the activities department for some really cool crafts, play some awesome games and more! Vendors at the pavilion…  Campers World will be here with RVs and displays of products all RV’ers will love to see.

Pig Roast / Down on the Farm Weekend – August 3rd & 4th – PIG ROAST BY: IRVE DECKER,  Yes He’s Back. Come enjoy the fantastic culinary results of years of experience and dedication of barbequing by the “MASTER IRVE”, YOU WILL NOT GO AWAY HUNGRY… Purchase your tickets early as there may be a limited number of seatings. Tickets available at the store or activities department. The farm comes to Rondout, horses and other farm animals…join the Activities Dept. for lots of barn yard games. Also don't forget to get your tickets for the pig roast!  Entertainment Saturday Aug. 3rd  Music by The Carl Richards Band music will start at 5 pm and end at 9 pm

Chocolate Lover's Weekend – August 10th & 11th – Calling all chocolate lovers, this weekend is for you! Don't miss out on all of our delicious chocolate activities...candy bar scavenger hunt, tootsie roll guessing contest, , flashlight candy hunt, name that candy bar game, crafts, and more. Who can make the best chocolate dessert? Pease sign up. Make and bring your favorite chocolate dessert to our Dessert Social and you just may win a prize. We will also have a chocolate fountain.

Tournament Weekend –August 17th & 18th –2nd annual Chicken Wing Cook-Off.  Entry forms will be in the Camp Store and Activities Department. This 1st annual Tournament Weekend will feature events that include: Duck Racing, Horse Racing, Horse Shoes, Bocce Ball, Shuffle Board, Miniature Golf, Hole  in one,  Music by Soundwave Entertainment

Flea Market / Penny Social Weekend – August 24th & 25th – This weekend we will have our 3rd Flea Market. Activities will include: crafts, games, vendors in the pavilion and more. All funds brought in from penny social will be put back into activities for more weekends.  Music by the Don Butler Band.

Labor Day Weekend – August 31st – Sept. 2nd – Bring your family to RVR this weekend and you're sure to have a great time! Various scavenger hunts Bingo Mania will be on the agenda along with The Miss Rondout Pageant, so guys get into your wife's closet and pick out something great to wear, plus other great activities! Sunday night. Music by No Limit on Saturday night Aug. 31st and DJ Joey "B" on Sunday Sept. 1st.

Grandparents Weekend – September 7th & 8th - Corn Harvest, Roasted corn, corn chowder, corn bread,… We’ll feature contests and events the OLD FOLK among us will enjoy or else!!! It’s time to make the Grandparents feel as special as they are, let’s make this weekend an event to remember. Free breakfast for the grandparents (when accompanied by the family) at the snack bar.. A Moon Lit Hayride will cap off Saturday night.

Italian Festival Weekend – September 14th & 15th – The Snack Bar will feature Italian Specials this weekend. Events will include, a spaghetti-eating contest, for all ages. Try to keep your face clean while devouring a Hugh Plate of pasta. Special prizes and lots of fun for all.

Apple Picking Weekend – September 28th & 29th Lets go apple picking and pick a ton of New York’s Famous apples. Activities will include:  apples on a string, a pie baking contest and a pie eating contest.  The Snack Bar will provide coffee and ice cream to complete a Wonderful Pie Social, please bring your favorite pie to share.

Oktoberfest – October 5th & 6th Wonderful German food and events. We will supply bratwurst-knockwurst-hot dogs you bring a side dish to share with your family and friend at RVR.

Columbus Day Weekend and 4th Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser – October 12th & 13th –WE would like to give a big Thank You to everyone who participated last year. We raised $1186.00 and sent it on to The Susan G. Komen Fund..  Join us for the last 3-day weekend of the camping season. We will have crafts, games and our 3rd annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Fund. Please be sure to purchase your tickets in advance! Music by Soundwave Entertainment

Fall Foliage Weekend – October 19th & 20th The fall colors will be at their peak. Let’s get together and enjoy the spectacular show Mother Nature has planned for us. Hike the many trails at Rondout, take pictures to share with each other over your favorite comfort dish POT LUCK dinner. Prizes for the best animal picture, water scene, most colorful tree scene, sunset, sunrise,….

Halloween Weekend – October 26th & 27th – The weekend activities will include crafts, games, and trick-or-treating throughout the park. Our annual Halloween party with food fun and prizes will be bigger than ever. Be frightened out of your wits on our famous “Haunted Hay Ride”, our volunteers and staff will be sure to set-up a ride to give you all the excitement you can handle. Last year our volunteers came out to help make the event a truly Great Haunted Hay Ride and we look forward to this season’s new ideas.  Entertainment by The RollerCats

Thanksgiving – November 23rd - Thanksgiving Dinner with our friends at Rondout Valley.  Turkey provided by the staff at Rondout, Guests bring your favorite Thanksgiving “Pot-Luck” item to complete the Feast.  More information to follow…
